8 hours per shift - Weekend rotation:
Every 4th weekend and weekend call - On Call:
Weekdays , Fridays 1530-Mondays 0700
Required certifications include RN License, BLS, ACLS (preferred), and NIH (preferred). Scrubs are navy or provided.
Job Description:
The RN delivers nursing care according to ANA standards and Michigan law, demonstrating critical thinking, ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, patient advocacy, discharge planning, delegation, and participation in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required), with specific timelines for obtaining it depending on start date
- Successful completion of orientation, excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, and competency in computer systems
Licenses/Certifications:
- RN license in Michigan (required)
- BLS (required), ACLS (preferred), other certifications as applicable
