Site Superintendent – Critical Infrastructure
Salary: 120,750 – USD per year, commensurate with experience; may include bonus, per diem, and relocation assistance.
As the primary on‑site leader and field execution authority on hyperscale and colocation data center construction projects ranging from 40 MW to 200 MW, the Site Superintendent will own day‑to‑day site operations, supervise all STC labor, subcontractors, and partner firms, and coordinate activities across all trades on site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise all STC field operations, daily coordination meetings, site walks, and trade alignment sessions.
- Develop and maintain 3‑week look‑ahead schedules aligned with the GC master schedule.
- Direct installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities across all scopes.
- Enforce QA/QC standards and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Own site safety execution, enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and project‑specific safety requirements.
- Represent STC in owner, GC, and commissioning site walks and executive reviews.
- Maintain relationships with trade partners and vendors.
- Support lessons‑learned capture and feedback into STC field execution standards.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in field supervision, site leadership, or superintendent roles within mission‑critical, hyperscale, or complex MEP construction environments.
- Proven experience supervising multi‑trade construction sites and managing subcontractors and partner firms.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety, quality control, and commissioning workflows.
- Experience coordinating with GC superintendents, owner representatives, and commissioning authorities.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and high‑risk construction activities.
- Leadership presence, decisiveness, and ability to operate under schedule pressure.
- Proficiency with construction documentation, drawings, schedules, and digital field tools (Procore, BIM 360, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills with both trades and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, delegate, and direct work across large, fast‑paced job sites.
Employee will frequently manipulate tools, devices, and materials; remain in stationary positions for meetings; move through active construction sites; ascend and descend stairs and ladders; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs; and wear appropriate PPE in high‑decibel environments.
Travel / RelocationMust drive and rent vehicles; full‑time daily presence at assigned sites; willing to work extended hours, weekends, and night shifts; up to 25 % travel to other U.S. sites; valid REAL passport required for travel.
Education / ExperienceAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
