Description:
We are seeking an experienced PACU RN for an urgent need.
The position requires availability for both weekend and weekday on-call shifts.
Call will be shared between two RNs, rotating weekly between Monday, Tuesday, Friday to Sunday, and Wednesday and Thursday the following week.
Candidates must have experience in recovering patients from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-operative care.
The discharges are typically related to the procedures performed in the unit.
Experience in trauma level facilities is preferred.
The role involves a variety of responsibilities including airway assessments, medication administration, and patient management.
Candidates should be proficient with the charting system.
Experience in a community hospital setting is beneficial.
Travel experience is required.
The unit supports adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census of 3-5 patients.
The facility collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualified candidates must meet all certification requirements and be available to fulfill necessary lab items within a specified timeframe after accepting the offer.
