Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position on an Adult Inpatient Unit, requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience.

Job Details

• Adult inpatient behavioral health unit,

• Patient ratio of 1:8,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM,

• Every other weekend (EOW) required,

• Floating within scope required as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required,

• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience required,

• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana - a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products,

• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted,

• 13-week contract
