Licensed Vocational Nurse performs various patient care duties, under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include providing care for patients – managing medication administration and treatments; providing medication education and completing documentation. Perform computer data entry – receive full training. Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, BSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

Schedule:
Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs. Every other weekend off. Able to start any day during the week (M-F), given 5 days before start date for processing all pre-employment requirements.
