As an Armed Security Officer in a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to retail grocery store clients, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, customer concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations; document observations and notify appropriate store contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
