** Big Spring, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, policy violations, and hazards; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Maintain professional firearms proficiency and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas positions.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
