Job SummaryNAPA Auto Parts is seeking skilled and energetic Warehouse Associates to join our growing team of professionals. The role involves expediting incoming and outgoing freight, receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading, and shipping merchandise. Warehouse Associates process inventory and maximize warehouse space usage by moving parts to the right place with safety, precision, and speed, using an electronic scanner for picking, packing, and loading shipments.
Warehouse Associates must be able to bend to floor‑level shelves and reach upper shelves up to eight feet using a stool or ladder when necessary. They also should have the stamina to stand, walk, and operate warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures throughout the work shift.
Responsibilities- Expedite incoming and outgoing freight
- Receive, stock, pull, stage, load, and ship merchandise
- Process inventory and maximize warehouse space usage
- Use an electronic scanner to pull parts, pack, and load for shipment
- Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with safety protocols
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Pre‑employment drug test and background check
- Ability to maneuver heavy equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Time management skills
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Strength to lift and move merchandise up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work independently and accurately to complete assigned duties in a timely manner
- Attention to detail
- Motivated to train and learn
- Team player and must work well with others
- Desire to go above and beyond the job description
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
