Student Support Paraprofessional

Job Description

Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking a Student Support Paraprofessional for the  school year to provide targeted support to students in coordination with the Dean’s Office and Support Services Department. The paraprofessional assigned to this role will help to manage student behavior and maintain effective learning environments through student supervision, various duties, and by providing specialized support and targeted behavioral interventions to identified at‑risk students, as assigned.

Candidate must be an organized, flexible, team‑player who can maintain student confidentiality, establish appropriate boundaries with students, take direction from and work collaboratively with staff, and have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience effectively supervising students in a vocational/technical high school setting preferred. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Starting Date: Immediately

Position Type: Full‑Time

Salary: $34,585 to $49,452 Per Year
