We are seeking a Part‑Time Instructor to lead the Defensive Driving Course (DDC) for adult and teen students.

• Teach diverse classroom courses on safe driving.
• Classes are held on weekends, weekdays, and evenings.
• Schedule is flexible – choose your own hours and teaching load.
• Curriculum ranges from 4 to 8 hours per session.
• Full instructor certification training and instructional materials are provided.
• Opportunities to teach mandatory court‑required or state retraining programs.

• Deliver the DDC curriculum to adult and teen students.
• Manage classroom dynamics and handle disruptions, equipment failures, and facility issues.
• Adapt instruction to meet the learning and behavioral needs of all participants.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports.

• Experience in public speaking and leading effective classroom discussions.
• Background in sociology, psychology, counseling, education, or a related field.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Weekend availability preferred.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and adaptability skills.

• Pay rate starts at $37 per hour.
