Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a manufacturing engineer with a strong focus on sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, process improvement, and new product introduction (NPI). The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and strong mechanical aptitude.

As part of the Operations team, you will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, and purchasing to drive continuous improvement and support production.

• Provide sustaining engineering support as the first point of contact for shop floor technical issues; drive quick resolution and prevent reoccurrence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on NPI projects
  , contributing to Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), coordinating prototype builds, and supporting production readiness.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives
  , including workflow optimization, lean practices, tooling development, and automation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D).
• Support manufacturing cost control through effective methods, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Participate in engineering change processes (ECNs) using PLM and ERP tools.
• Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Experience in NPI, sustaining engineering, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
• Advanced degree, Six Sigma, or project management certification a plus.
• Manufacturing transfers (domestic and international).
• PPAP processes, plant layout, and workflow analysis.
• Solid Works, Draft Sight, MS Excel, and MS Project.
