The RoleOur site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
What You'll Do- As part of Entegris' Manufacturing Operations team, the Manufacturing Co-Op will work closely with the production and Sr. Process Engineers team to drive initiatives to increase output, reduce scrap and rework, eliminate waste, improve overall efficiency, and ensure quality and safety are built into processes at every step.
- Provide assistance in projects which improve operational efficiency and deliver savings which support corporate objectives, such as on-time delivery, productivity, scrap reduction, etc.
- Identify root cause and propose solutions.
- Apply manufacturing best practices to drive safety, quality, reliability and predictability into everything we do.
- Work with teams to identify problems, analyze information and develop and implement process solutions.
- Assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures.
- Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Must have ability to reach out, communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated hands on problem solving utilizing good engineering principles.
- Ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets.
- Embody a sense of ownership and passion of the process and drive improvements through creative solutions.
- Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Graduation of May 2027 or later
- Must be a currently enrolled student.
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July, working through December.
- Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program.

Compensation: $20-$32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on graduation year and candidate skillset
