Mechanical Inspector

About The Role

Perform first articles, inspect high‑precision machined and molded parts using elaborate setups. Use department equipment including CMM machine and OGP Smartscope. Help in department training on equipment or inspection techniques. Work with R&D and engineering on prototype products. Write non‑conforming reports for product out of tolerance.

• Confirm the quality of product coming into the building using Part Quality Inspection Plans, generate non‑conforming reports, perform first articles.
• Work with R&D and engineering on prototype products.

• Must have 3‑5 years mechanical measurement experience.
• Must be familiar with most inspection equipment: comparator, verniers, micrometers, etc.
• Above average computer skills.
• Good people skills.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

On‑site in our Billerica, Enterprise Rd [4E] facility 5 days/week (M‑F).

$28 - $32/hour

7:00 AM - 03:30 PM
