Responsibilities- Prepare robots for daily testing
- Develop and modify testbed layouts
- Lead infrastructure projects (planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, installation, validation)
- Coordinate electrical, networking, and mechanical integration
- Submit and manage purchase requisitions
- Perform and oversee software and hardware testing
- Lead troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
- Maintain lab power, video, and safety infrastructure
- Interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Oversee daily lab operations to ensure a safe, organized, and fully functional testing environment
- Manage lab assets, tooling, and equipment
- Ensure readiness of lab spaces, including safety systems, power distribution, and environmental controls
- Improve testing workflows and infrastructure reliability
- Develop documentation standards and operational best practices
- Maintain detailed project and operational documentation in assorted systems
- Serve as a liaison between operations and engineering teams
- Coordinate directly with vendors, contractors, and facilities personnel
- Support high‑visibility demonstrations and executive‑level visits
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience
- 1–4 years of experience in a technical operations/service, lab support, manufacturing, or field support role
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for layout planning (proficiency preferred)
- Experience managing full lifecycle projects
- Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, and mechanics
- Proficiency with Linux or command‑line systems
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Manual dexterity sufficient for testing, repairs, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Experience in labor fields such as rigging, maintenance or similar
- Experience with graphic or visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Forklift or scissor lift certification
- Exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments
Up to 10% travel.
CompensationThe base pay range for this position is between $41.25 to $48.53 hourly. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience.
