One of iO Associates longest term exclusive partners in advanced mobility, who are venture back and operating across the US, UK and APAC, are in a key IT infrastructure transformation phase and need a hands‑on IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist to stabilise and modernise the US environment.
This is an urgent hire. There's currently no dedicated full time IT support in the US, and you'll be the go‑to person on‑site in Billerica to get the basics running cleanly, tighten up infrastructure and then move into steady state support and improvement work, whilst collaborating with the global offices.
Responsibilities- Owning on‑site IT support for the Billerica office (end users + day‑to‑day issues)
- Getting the server room and core infrastructure back into shape (tidy‑up, reliability, upgrades)
- Supporting virtualisation and backups (VMware + Veeam)
- Administering Microsoft 365 (users, access, licences, SharePoint/email basics)
- Running onboarding/offboarding and keeping IT operations organised
- Working closely with global teams across UK/EU and APAC time zones
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
- VMware + Veeam experience
- Solid Windows (Windows 11 + Windows Server) support/admin background
- A do what needs doing mindset, happy to be the on‑site IT owner in a busy system environment
- Networking/security exposure (firewalls, switching, endpoint/security tooling)
- Any experience supporting engineering environments/tools
