IT Principal Business Application Architect

Role Summary

Quanterix is seeking a Principal Business Applications Architect (Systems) to lead the strategy, design, and transformation of our enterprise applications landscape. The position is a high‑impact senior individual‑contributor role that partners with executive leadership and drives the migration of our ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms to Oracle Fusion Cloud over the next 12‑18 months.

• Own the Business Architecture Landscape for business applications across ERP, CRM, and analytics.
• Lead the end‑to‑end architecture and migration strategy to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Drive Business Process Engineering & Re‑Engineering (BPE/BPR) across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and Marketing.
• Design scalable, integrated solutions across Salesforce and ERP ecosystems.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and integration patterns.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into systems and process solutions.
• Enable data‑driven decision making through strong data and analytics architecture.
• Mentor internal teams and influence system integrators and vendors.

• 15+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Business Administration (focus on Information Systems or Operations).
• 12+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree in Information Systems/Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration (MBA, especially with Operations, Strategy, or Technology focus).
• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise or Solutions Architecture.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
• Background in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, or Healthcare.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, SOX).
• Certifications such as TOGAF, Salesforce Architect, Oracle Cloud.
• Proven success leading ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Strong experience with Salesforce ecosystem and enterprise BI tools.
• Deep expertise in Business Process Engineering and Re‑Engineering.
• Experience designing end‑to‑end, integrated enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of integrations (APIs, middleware, iPaaS) and data architecture.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Travel 10%.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align enterprise systems to business growth and operational efficiency.
• Ability to simplify complex system landscapes and communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across Finance, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Scientific teams.
