Job Description

Duties under limited supervision: maintains storeroom and ensures the proper and timely disbursement of stored materials and parts.

• Maintains prescribed stock levels of a variety of materials and components to be used by production departments and laboratories.
• Receives, stores, and issues materials and components following prescribed procedures.
• Assigns proper stock codes to each material/component and places them on stock shelves.
• Maintains inventory records and proper paperwork for accountability of stores.
• Notifies proper authority to reorder when minimum inventory levels are reached.
• Alters storage locations according to changing conditions.
• Picks up and delivers material and equipment for the department.
• Operates forklift truck.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Hourly rate: $24.14 (23/13).
