Manufacturing Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform tasks including inspecting, data collection, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling and packaging; complete other duties as assigned.
• Verify product visually, take corrective action as needed, ensure product meets established specifications, escalate quality issues as appropriate, maintain adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards, and ensure all product is packaged per packaging specifications.
• Perform various operations on the product in accordance with work orders and information instructions.
• Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e., Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions, etc.); maintain accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials; conduct variable charts on manufacturing processes and count of good product as required.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Integrate on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality; promote and implement continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities; participate in continuous improvement activities such as 6S, Kaizen events, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; wear required personal protective equipment; perform duties in a safe manner and observe approved safety procedures; communicate potential hazards immediately to supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft., and walk and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.

• All employees are expected to be flexible, working in varying departments as needed.
