Job DescriptionEntegris is hiring Manufacturing Technicians at both our Billerica, MA and Bedford, MA locations.
RoleThe Manufacturing Technician position is responsible for operating and maintaining UPE Membrane equipment and operating machines through various tasks such as Extrusion, Extraction, Annealing, Surface Modification, inspecting, trimming, and packaging membrane products. Completes other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Verify product visually and take corrective action when necessary, ensuring product is consistent with established specifications.
- Escalate quality issues as appropriate and ensure highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
- Perform various operations on the product line in accordance with the work orders and process record instructions.
- Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly and intimately (Production Reports, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions, etc.) and complete hour‑by‑hour sheets on manufacturing processes as required.
- Integrate into all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness, and product/system quality.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
- Ability to handle chemicals regularly and safely.
- Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 4 ft, and walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
- Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle all materials required in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work in different environments.
- Self‑starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
- Proficient in English language to read documentation, communicate, and write.
- Ideally, a candidate with a keen eye for quality, dependable, and able to work collaboratively within a team, and possesses a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Problem‑solving: recognizes problems and understands root cause analysis techniques/concepts.

- Compensation commensurate with experience, pay range $25–$29 per hour.
