The Role:

Job Description Our site in Billerica is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to join our team. This is an excellent career opportunity for qualified candidates, especially those with material handling or warehouse experience. In this role, the successful candidate will support warehouse operations by moving materials as needed, supporting manufacturing, transferring and storing goods, assisting with utility, shipping, and picking activities, packaging and palletizing products, and performing other related duties as assigned.

The key responsibilities of the Operations Associate are:

• Produce, package, and prepare products for shipment.
• Receive raw material and containers, utilizing fork trucks and hand trucks.
• Perform required data entry and record keeping.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.
• Comply with plant safety initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example: support with cycle count, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation)

• Technical – Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling.
• Behavioral – Validated leadership ability and team building skills.
• Computer
  - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Lotus Notes; experienced in ERP systems data entry.
• Education – High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience – 2 to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Standup Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Physical –Requires manual lifting of up to 40 lbs., as needed.

Shift: Monday
- Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (overtime may be required, as per business needs) Weekend shifts will vary when needed.
