We are seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead all quality functions at our Billerica facility. Reporting to the Site General Manager, this hands on leader will ensure that products, processes, and systems consistently meet customer, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
The Site Quality Manager will oversee the Quality Management System and daily quality operations while working closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and Corporate Quality. This position also serves as the site’s primary quality contact for customers, suppliers, certification bodies, and external auditors
Key Responsibilities- Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the site Quality Management System.
- Oversee inspection, testing, First Article Inspection, MRB, nonconformance management, corrective actions, and customer returns.
- Lead audits, root-cause investigations, CAPA and supplier corrective-action activities.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement improvements that reduce defects and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, suppliers, and external auditors.
- Recruit, coach, and develop the quality team while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001
, audits, corrective actions, MRB, and First Article Inspection. - Knowledge of AS9102 and aerospace quality-system requirements.
- Aerospace, defense, cable assembly, wire harness, interconnect, or electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and team-development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities through disciplined planning, collaboration, transparency, and respect for others.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations
