Responsible for overseeing and ensuring an organization’s products or services meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Ensure consistent product quality through existing and new quality systems; work closely with procurement, engineering, operations, and suppliers to maintain a robust, compliant, and continuously improving supply chain, ensuring that materials, components, and services from external suppliers meet required quality, regulatory, and performance standards. In addition, he/she will be responsible for overseeing supplier performance, conducting audits, resolves quality issues, and ensures suppliers meet company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop quality standards and procedures to meet customer and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, ISO
14001) and ensure compliance across all operations - Supplier qualification & management leading supplier approval, qualification, and monitoring processes based on supplier quality agreements and specifications
- Monitor and evaluate quality performance, develop and tracking KPIs, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and prepare reports for senior management
- Manage quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and evaluation at various stages of production
- Lead and train staff on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigate customer complaints driving root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to address quality issues and improve processes
- Maintain documentation such as quality manuals, compliance reports, and statistical reviews
- Participate in senior management reviews and influencing business plans and key performance indicators
Qualifications
- Work experience: 7+ years of quality management experience with at least 3 years in supplier quality and ISO certification
- Educational background:
Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field - Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, supplier auditing, quality systems, quality control methods and the regulatory environment - Leadership and management:
Ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and foster a culture of continuous improvement - Analytical and problem-solving skills:
Capable of identifying quality issues, statistical analysis, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions - Communication skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple departments, suppliers, and clients - Attention to detail:
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements
