We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director / Sr. Director, Spatial Biology to join our Research and Technologies team in Billerica, MA. This is a high impact role with responsibility for leading innovative research and technology development in the area of spatial biology. The candidate will use their extensive knowledge to conceive and prototype novel technologies and approaches leading to transformative products in the area of spatial biology.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Work with key Company stakeholders to identify opportunities for new transformative products in the area of spatial biology
- Identify gaps in the existing spatial portfolio and opportunities for improvements
- Work with Research and Technologies team to lead prototyping and feasibility
- Work with development team to transfer successful candidates into development phase
- Support troubleshooting and advanced analytics for existing product portfolio
- PhD in Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Biomedical engineering
- Life Science tools industry experience
- 10+ years of technical experience
- Experience prototyping innovative concepts and development of commercial products in spatial biology
- Experience in prototyping and developing spatial biology products
- Experience in spatial proteomics and spatial transcriptomics, multiomics including data analysis
- Knowledge of key technologies and players in the spatial biology area
- Work from Billerica, MA, on-site
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in key functional areas
- Entrepreneurial / start up mentality
