Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director / Sr. Director, Spatial Biology to join our Research and Technologies team in Billerica, MA. This is a high‑impact role with responsibility for leading innovative research and technology development in the area of spatial biology. The candidate will use their extensive knowledge to conceive and prototype novel technologies and approaches leading to transformative products in spatial biology.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Work with key company stakeholders to identify opportunities for new transformative products in spatial biology
- Identify gaps in the existing spatial portfolio and opportunities for improvements
- Lead prototyping and feasibility with the Research and Technologies team
- Transfer successful candidates into development phase with the development team
- Support troubleshooting and advanced analytics for the existing product portfolio
- PhD in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Engineering
- Life science tools industry experience
- 10+ years of technical experience
- Experience prototyping innovative concepts and developing commercial products in spatial biology
- Experience in prototyping and developing spatial biology products
- Experience in spatial proteomics, spatial transcriptomics, multiomics, including data analysis
- Knowledge of key technologies and players in the spatial biology area
- Work from Billerica, MA, on‑site
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across functional areas
- Entrepreneurial/start‑up mentality
