Global Partner’s is looking for a Food Service Associate / Deli Clerk. Our Fresh Food Associate is responsible for the store’s deli and food service daily operations, ensuring a high level of sanitation, store appearance and guest service.

• Process cash register transactions, give back change and handle refunds.
• Learn to use register systems, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, register forms, and posted company policies/procedures.
• Work with deli ingredients including meat items, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, sauces and oils.
• Use scale printer machines to ensure weights and pricing are correct.
• Monitor product pricing, signage and placement, and use product shelf tags and shelf signage.
• Keep the check stand, sales counter and work areas clean, neat and orderly.
• Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service products; rotate items as needed for quality and safety.
• Prepare and cook deli and food service items, including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, roller grill items, hot and cold beverages, prepared meals and snacks for hot and cold cases.
• Work safely around sharp slicers, tools, ovens and burners.
• Display products following deli department and merchandising guidelines.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or evening shifts; may assist other locations as needed.
• Two years of food service or retail management experience required.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Serv-safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally; work in walk-in coolers and freezers; stand for long periods and handle bending, twisting, lifting and reaching.
• Ability to use knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The final offered amount is based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location; company reserves the right to modify base salary.
