General Store Responsibilities
- Provide friendly efficient service to all customers
- Greeting all customers with a smile and asking what they need help with & what brought them in to the store
- Circulating the parking lot for carriages
- Answering any questions a customer may have
- Escorting customers and their purchases to their car and thanking them for their business
- Maintaining front and side retail yards
- Loading soil and mulch into customers cars
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and/or have no other physical limitations
- Perform other physical tasks and/or working on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Answer phone
- Keep area clean and stocked
- Ability to multitask
- Greet customers and be able to direct their questions to the right team member
- Customer-service focused
- Prior experience in horticulture working with plants and gardening products is highly valued but not necessary if candidate is willing to learn.
- Must be friendly and possess a customer centric mentality and conduct every interaction with confidence and a smile on your face.
