Residential Plumbing Technician

Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating in Billerica, MA is hiring a full-time Residential Plumbing Technician who values quality work, clear communication, and doing right by the customer.

• $42–$55 per hour

If you meet the following criteria, we want you as our Residential Plumbing Technician!

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman and/or Master plumbing license
• 2+ years of field experience in plumbing systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of current code requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with power tools and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, and experience with Service Titan or similar dispatch software, is preferred.

This is a full-time plumber position. Licensed service technicians participate in an on-call rotation, with an additional $100 in compensation and a shared after-hours fee, while installation technicians follow a standard schedule without on-call duties.

In this plumber role, you'll head out prepared to handle residential work, with a strong focus on service, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and delivering dependable solutions. As a service technician, you'll interact directly with homeowners, explain solutions clearly, and ensure customer confidence. As an installation/construction technician, you'll focus on precise system installs and long-term quality. In all cases, you'll follow code, document your work in Service Titan, manage quotes and invoices, and take ownership of every job, delivering results that reflect the professionalism of our team.
