All ANC trucks are day cabs with automatic transmission and slip seats. As a Bulk CO2 Driver, you will make 10 to 15 deliveries per day using a straight bulk truck weighing up to 52,000 lbs. Work hours typically 10–12 hours per day, not exceeding daily Hours of Service regulations.
Responsibilities- Transfer product from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hookup.
- Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
- Load Microbulk tanks and fill customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
- Maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed.
- Ensure the route truck remains in proper and safe working order, and that routine maintenance occurs on a timely basis.
- Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
- Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
- No more than two traffic convictions, or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years, or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last three years.
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
- Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
- At least one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or proof of trucking school completion within the last five years.
- Experience with CO2 or other specialty gases is a plus but not required.
