Lexington Medical, Inc. is a surgical stapling company based in Bedford, MA, developing smart surgical technology for minimally invasive procedures. We are not affiliated with Lexington Medical Center.
This is a full‑time temporary position with potential to convert to full‑time regular employee. The hours for this position are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Hourly Rate: $21 USD - $23 USD
Responsibilities- Pick parts for production orders.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Maintain first in, first out (FIFO) of both raw materials and finished goods.
- Receive deliveries, accurately count contents and enter data into MRP system.
- Document damaged shipments and quantity discrepancies.
- Deliver received parts to proper storage locations.
- Pull devices from finished goods to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack customer orders carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
- Prepare shipping documentation (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, freight).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in other departments as necessary.
- Ability to manipulate small parts.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, lift, carry.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic mathematics and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Well organized.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize varying demands for time.
- Medical device or other regulated industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
