Summary:
The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in our operations by accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. This position is also responsible for safely and efficiently operating material-handling equipment to move, store, and process materials throughout the facility to support daily shipping and production activities. Key responsibilities include unloading, loading, staging, conducting physical inventory counts, stacking products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
The role requires routine access to a +4C (39F) walk-in environment and proficiency in operating a hand truck and forklift for material transport. This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday.
Processes orders according to priority set by Supervisor/Group Lead to meet customer requirements.
Pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution standard operating procedure (SOP) and work instructions
Use of scanner for pick, pack, and ship reagents, instruments, and spare parts
Execute material transactions in company ERP system and use carriers computer systems to generate shipping labels and packing slip
Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse manager or inventory control teams
Verifies proper storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can t Finds, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
Deliver internal orders and incoming samples/Purchase orders to the laboratory.
Pick, pack and ship correct items for customer orders by referencing part number, product description, pick location and pick quantity from computer generated work order.
Verify packing slips and pick tickets, comparing item information to the document item information.
Put away and transact systematically to correct storage locations, ensuring Item information is correct.
Interact with all departments and employees within the company to ensure material and supply needs are met in a positive, helpful fashion.
Interact with and support all internal departments to meet their material needs.
Perform all work assignments as trained to comply with all regulatory requirements and procedures.
Keep areas neat and clean throughout the workday using a clean-as-you-go policy.
Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Operate hand truck, cart, forklift, and use of hand-held scan device for picking
Possible travel to other Quanterix locations between Marlborough and Billerica

Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 12 years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and hand trucks (certification a plus).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working in and out of a +4C (39F) walk-in environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software preferred.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Written and spoken literacy in English
Basic math skills are required
Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to follow directions and procedures, stay on schedule and adhere to standards.
Attention to detail.
Ability to use computer-based tools such as email, Microsoft Word, ERP systems, and carrier supplied shipping systems.
Ability to use basic material handling equipment.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
Willingness to be trained in additional responsibilities.
Ability to work independently in an organized manner while keeping supervisor informed of progress, issues, and resolutions.
Expectations, Competencies, Skills & Abilities:Primary location for first 3-6 months will be in Marlborough, MA
Position will move to Billerica permanently with rotating schedule to Marlborough x1 a week
