Mobile HGV Technician
Location:
Teesside
Salary:
Up to £41,496 Basic + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Hours:
Monday to Friday, Full Time

- Attend customer sites and roadside locations to diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems - Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
- Complete repairs to manufacturer and company standards
- Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Mobile HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
