PT Aide / Rehab Office Coordinator Assistant

Status: Full time – Non-Exempt

Reports to: PT Manager of Specific Rehab Clinic

Purpose and Scope of Position

This position is responsible for providing support as directed to Office Coordinator staff and therapy providers during patient treatment time in the clinic. This position interacts with office staff as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy providers.

Additional phone communication may occur with other finance office, higher administration, physicians, home health department, nurses, and other staff members of both the BBC Red Lodge and Joliet locations. Patient may also be required to open and close clinic facility at designated requested hours.

Job Requirements
  • Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent/Or currently enrolled in school
  • Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare type setting or one on one care for an individual for a minimum of two years.
  • Public speaking experience and communication with general public.
  • Managerial Experience
  • N/A
  • Special Requirements
  • Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise.
  • Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules.
  • Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and the general public and use good judgment in recognizing scope and authority.
  • Must be able to receive constructive feedback on tasks and/or duties assigned for day
  • Must be able to effectively communicate any skills, tasks, and or situations in which you feel uncomfortable performing prior to or at the time as it relates to clinic, self, and/or patient safety.
