The minimum qualifications for the Teller position are:
- Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
- Professionalism, timeliness, efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
The successful candidate will possess excellent member service skills, will display accuracy while processing member transactions, and will demonstrate professionalism when communicating with members through a variety of channels.
Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesE - 10% - Perform all teller duties as needed, including maintaining and balancing a teller drawer.
E - 10% - Assist members using ITM machines.
E - 10% - Perform back-office functions as directed.
E - 10% - Assist in special projects as assigned.
E - 10% - Perform clerical duties.
E - 15% - Direct member traffic in the branch
E - 10% - Lobby maintenance
E - 10% - Assist with answering phones
E - 10% - Provide basic explanation of credit union products and policies to members as needed.
N - 5% - Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and SkillsExperience
- The role can be learned in hours, days, or weeks.
Education - A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
- Reports to the Billings Vice President of Operations Works closely with all staff members in Billings Frequent daily contact with members, potential members and Credit Union staff. Infrequent contact with outside sources such as insurance companies, dealers, other financial institutions and title entities.
