At Jacobs, we challenge what is currently accepted, so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions in Architecture. Jacobs is seeking an experienced Experiential Graphic Designer that functions at the senior level with demonstrated experience supporting an Experiential Design, Architecture or Interiors firm preferred. This position will be focused on serving our Data Center Performance Unit and serving those clients for comprehensive campus and building signage programs both nationally and globally.
This is a client‑facing position that will focus on producing the complete scope of assigned projects while maintaining communications across project teams and meeting deliverables schedules.
This is a hybrid all US location opportunity, allowing candidates the flexibility to work remotely and report into a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.
Proven experience in way finding and signage programs for complex environments is required. Full knowledge of ADA and building codes as it relates to signage is required. Field survey experience is desirable but not required. Working knowledge of sign fabrication methods and materials is preferred with working knowledge of fabrication experience.
Key Tasks- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within Jacobs, as well as client‑side stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions and enhance design solutions.
- Oversee project lifecycle from ideation through implementation, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget; present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Self‑direction and independent production as well as an understanding that project success is reliant on the efforts of the Experiential Graphic Designer.

What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- At least 15+ years' experience as an Experiential Graphic Designer.
- PC platform experience:
Working knowledge of and experience with current BIM/REVIT, Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Bluebeam, Project Wise, SharePoint, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite. - Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules.
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small teams.
- Ability to travel to project sites in the US.
- Experience with designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science or other Industrial Facilities that also include office environments).

The base salary range for this position is to ; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
