Job Summary
Instructional Paraprofessional (IPP) – Special Education
Position:
One (1) 0.13 FTE (6.5 hours a day, Monday‑Friday) for a 9‑month school year.
Pay: $16.26 per hour for a 90‑day probationary period, then $18.07 per hour.
Responsibilities- Perform instructional activities as planned, assigned, and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students.
- Assist the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors for classroom success.
- Help select, prepare, and organize materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons.
- Collect data and report student progress to the teacher.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 60 semester/90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the Work Keys Test to meet the requirement of ESSA.
- Previous experience working with children.
