As a core member of our front-line educational team, Teacher Naturalists are responsible for delivering immersive, high-quality environmental education across our 54-acre site and the adjacent Yellowstone River Corridor. This year-round role involves working with a diverse audience—ranging from toddlers to adults—with a primary focus on upper elementary students. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic educators who thrive in outdoor settings, are comfortable teaching in various weather conditions, and are passionate about fostering deep connections between people and the natural world.
Responsibilities- Lead engaging environmental education programs as part of our 4th-grade program, field trips, in-class programs, and community programs.
- Adapt program implementation as needed, based on weather, engagement, or other factors.
