Middle School (Various) Part-Time (0.5 FTE) BEA Salary Schedule TRS Retirement;
Discretionary Days Requires a current Montana Educator License Opportunity for experienced Montana-licensed educators and/or retired educators to apply their instructional knowledge and professional experience in a meaningful support role serving teachers across multiple middle school buildings. This position works collaboratively with a dynamic Curriculum & Instruction team focused on strengthening classroom instruction and supporting teacher success. Partner with the district Curriculum & Instruction team to support the implementation and alignment of middle school ELA curriculum, instructional resources, the Science of Reading, and research-based instructional practices.
Use your educational experience to provide practical, classroom-focused guidance and support to teachers. Support professional learning and collaborative curriculum work for middle school ELA teachers, including professional development related to the Science of Reading, curriculum implementation, instructional planning, literacy development, and other opportunities designed to strengthen teaching and learning. Contribute to district ELA and literacy initiatives, including novel and literature review committees, reading and curriculum task forces, instructional resource development, Science of Reading implementation, and other Curriculum & Instruction projects as assigned.
