Electrical Engineer

This position is with a leading food manufacturer. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and overseeing electrical and instrumentation upgrades across multiple sites. The position is also responsible for auditing the facilities to ensure they are operating and maintaining the electrical and instrumentation equipment properly.

• Leading electrical and instrumentation projects from design to full project execution.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment (AutoCAD).
• Collaborating with other engineers and plant personnel for troubleshooting repairs and future projects.
• Ensuring operating and installation standards are met for electrical and instrumentation systems by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.

• Working knowledge and experience in designing medium and low voltage systems (12,470V to 24V).
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
• Experience designing PLC cabinets, MCC, and switchboards.
• 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology from an accredited school.
