About the RoleIn the role of Control Systems EIT/Designer, you'll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration.
Responsibilities- Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Assist with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment.
- Assist with development of biddable and technically accurate instrumentation and control system construction documents.
- Assist with the development of software applications for automation such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI).
- Assist with system testing and commissioning activities.
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
- Work independently on small projects, or assist more‑senior engineers on larger projects.
- Give direction to clerical and technical personnel.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- For candidates without EIT, the role will be titled Control Systems Designer and they will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture is a must.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
