Transmission Project Engineer

This job is for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer / Lead Engineer focused on high-voltage transmission line design.

• Lead transmission line engineering projects in a multidisciplinary environment
• Design and review transmission lines from 69 kV to 500 kV
• Approve designs, models, calculations, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and company quality requirements
• Serve as the Engineer of Record / Responsible in Charge
• Perform value-engineering and cost optimization studies
• Develop and improve engineering standards and procedures
• Mentor and train junior engineers and designers
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Conduct occasional site visits

• Bachelor's degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 7 years of transmission line engineering experience
• Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• PLS CADD

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

An engineer with 7+ years of transmission line design experience who can independently design and review high-voltage transmission systems, lead teams, mentor engineers, ensure code compliance, and serve as the technical authority on complex transmission projects.
