Project or Senior Engineer – Hydraulics/Road Design

Sanbell is a multidisciplinary engineering, community planning, and design firm serving clients throughout the Western United States.

• Lead hydraulics design on DOT projects including hydrologic analysis, storm drainage design, low‑impact development design, irrigation ditch, pipe, and structure design, culvert design, and ditch design.
• Prepare hydraulics reports, various DOT milestone report submittals, and project proposals and scoping documents.

• Review and QA/QC general oversight of DOT Group hydraulic efforts.
• Manage hydraulics budgets.
• Mentor and train junior staff in hydraulic analysis and design.
• Interact with MDT Hydraulics staff and maintain client relationships.

• B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or a related degree.

• PE Certification.
• 6+ years of hydraulic/water resources and road design experience.

• Proficiency with HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HY‑8, and Auto Desk’s Storm and Sanitary Analysis or similar storm drain modeling program.

• $88,000—$120,000 per year.
