Job Summary:
Billings Flying Service is a Boeing approved MRO facility, AS9110 Certified and a FAA approved repair station. As a valued member of the Billings Team, the successful candidate will be overhauling, repairing, inspecting and performance testing aircraft assemblies/components. Additionally, you will be working directly with management and test engineers on MRO capability development and process enhancement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Overhaul, repair, troubleshoot and perform serviceability inspections on components, assemblies, sub-assemblies and rotorcraft transmissions in accordance with technical documentation. Utilize specialty tooling and fixtures, precision metrology equipment, flow equipment, dynamic run stands. Comprehensively document work performed in a detailed format.
- Minimum 5 years cumulative experience with civilian/military aviation component overhaul and repair.
- Experience on rotorcraft dynamics, gear patterning and drive train preferred (rotor heads, transmissions, swash plates).
- Experience with precision measurement tooling, techniques and associated factors, technical troubleshooting skills, and stringent adherence to safety protocols (FOD prevention).
- Must be able to pass a general knowledge test or have an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license (preferred).
- Experience in Boeing CH47/BV234 components a plus.
- Documented military or commercial component maintenance training a plus.
- Must possess basic aviation mechanic tools.
- Must have strong work ethic and be coachable.
