We’re looking for a Drinking Water Conveyance Practice Leader to lead this practice across all locations, driving strategy, technical excellence, and growth across critical water infrastructure systems. Practice leaders at AE2S focus on the Technologies, Trends, and Training for their respective practices.

• Shape AE2S’s national Drinking Water Conveyance strategies
• Expand and strengthen technical capabilities across multiple states
• Influence project delivery across multiple states
• Build and scale a nationally recognized practice
• Collaborate with leadership across operations, client development, and strategy

• Set and drive the national vision for drinking water conveyance and distribution systems
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all drinking water conveyance projects
• Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in water infrastructure and system design
• Represent AE2S as a recognized voice in the industry through client advisory roles, conferences, and professional engagements
• Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in business development
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices

• Growth and expansion of AE2S’ drinking water conveyance practice nationwide
• A strong and visible technical leadership presence in the market

• Advancement of innovative drinking water conveyance solutions and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or directly related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 10 or more years of experience in water infrastructure, with deep expertise in conveyance systems
• 2 years of leadership experience (team, project or practice level)
• Strong client relationship and business development experience
• Proven ability to manage clients, win new clients, and retain clients
• Ability to travel periodically to support conferences, project pursuits, client meetings, and other business development activities

The anticipated salary range for this position is:

• $120,000-$200,000+
• This salary range represents AE2S's good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, licensure, certifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
