Civil Engineer

Morrison-Maierle, an employee-owned consulting engineering firm, seeks a Civil Engineer to support infrastructure projects across the Rocky Mountain region. In this role, you will plan, design, and analyze civil engineering projects such as transportation, water, and site development, prepare drawings and specifications, perform calculations, and support permitting. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with construction administration and field observations, and interact with clients and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and analyze civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water, site development)
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications
• Perform engineering calculations and support modeling and design analyses
• Assist with permitting, regulatory coordination, and code compliance
• Support construction administration, including submittal review and RFIs
• Conduct periodic field observations and site visits to document project progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to project scope, schedule, and budget development
• Coordinate with clients, review agencies, and stakeholders
• Participate in professional development and contribute to continuous improvement
