Job Title
Design and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Provide analysis of building control and mechanical system performance at a complete systems and campus level. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Provide project management on projects as required, interfacing directly with customers. Manage sub-contractors and suppliers. Direct project financial responsibility increases with tenure in this position, including use of ATS project management financial reports.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
Complete control system overall design responsibility
Control programming and graphic development
Manage the start-up and commissioning of Building Automation Systems Engineer field changes and maintain as-built documentation
Conduct on-site owner training as part of project closeout
Execute project management tasks including job planning, labor planning, scheduling, fiscal analysis, etc.
Material ordering and coordination
Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget
Programming skills
Proven analytical skills
Exceptional interactive and communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of DDC (direct digital control) Theory and Applications Ability to work independently and unsupervisedACAD skills
This position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 50% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Lifting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds more frequently is required.
Must be comfortable climbing a ladder infrequently. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools are included.
Annual base salary ranges from $68,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Local travel required up to with infrequent out-of-state travel
Engineering undergraduate degree
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer programming experience
Building Mechanical system experience
Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
