About The Position
This position is a hybrid work model based at Billings, MT and Sioux Falls, SD Downtown branch.
SummaryThe Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst will provide forecasts and financial analysis. The role partners with Finance and Business Partners to develop detailed budgets and forecasts, track and report performance against budgets, and support key constituents in understanding their financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides financial products and services and acts as a business advisor and partner to various business units.
- Initiates, collects, compiles and integrates business data to inform forecasts and budgets.
- Executes variance analysis and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior leadership.
- Makes recommendations for business unit/program's financial and performance improvements.
- Leads and supports the development of business cases using appropriate financial indices and coordination with other stakeholders.
- Utilizes insightful analysis to support decision making and help drive business results.
- Assists in the development and improvement of internal senior leadership reports.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced understanding of forecast modeling.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 4-6 years experience in finance, accounting, business, or a related role required.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Chartered Finance Analyst preferred.
- Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse – frequently.
- Sitting – frequently.
- Standing – occasionally.
- Noise Level – moderate.
- Typical work hours – M-F (8-5).
- Regular and predictable attendance – required.
