The Loan Servicing Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the loan servicing team through ownership of complex job functions, loan‑level research with root‑cause analysis, creation and delivery of procedures and training, and interfacing with other support functions outside Servicing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Handle complex loan servicing job functions such as Attorney‑Prepared Loan Processing, Complex Commercial Loans, Data Quality, Reconciliations, Reporting, and Collateral Management.
- Assist with customer service calls regarding account inquiries and resolve errors or complaints.
- Update data in the servicing core system and document customer contacts.
- Monitor department and employee‑facing procedures for accuracy and, as needed, partner with direct manager to update existing or create new procedures.
- Train on new or existing procedures and processes, and aid in the training of new hires.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and bank policies.
- Engage in process improvement activities.
- Monitor SLAs to ensure department work is completed timely and accurately.
- Act as a first‑level escalation point for complex customer inquiries.
- Provide backup support when the Department Manager is out of office.

- Interpret documents to ensure accuracy.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in Lending Operations and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- Experience in operational processes, procedures, systems, and loan servicing regulations preferred.
- Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse – frequently.
- Lifting – occasionally (up to 10 lbs).
- Sitting – frequently.
- Overtime – subject to business need.
- Noise level – moderate.
- Typical work hours – Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
We offer a competitive total compensation package, including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $25.93 to $38.89 per hour in WA, based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
