Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and active ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Support invasive cardiovascular procedures including radiological cardiac and vascular interventions
- Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week
- Adult patient population
- Uses Epic charting for EMR documentation
- Operates imaging equipment and assists as scrub during procedures
- Provide technical and patient care support under RN supervision during invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Assist physicians in imaging and act as scrub while maintaining sterile field
- Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations
- Maintain unit cleanliness and ensure appropriate stock for complex interventions
- Document patient progression and procedures according to department standards
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
- Must be permanently separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
- Dress code and scrub requirements to be communicated upon assignment
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Cath Lab or invasive cardiovascular procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
- Active ARRT, RCIS, RCES, or CV-specific RRT certification required within 18 months of hire
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, active and not expiring before start
- Fluoroscopy Certification required
- Must supply radiation badges
- License required if applicable
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- No pending license accepted at time of consideration
