Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and active ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification.

• Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Support invasive cardiovascular procedures including radiological cardiac and vascular interventions
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Adult patient population
• Uses Epic charting for EMR documentation
• Operates imaging equipment and assists as scrub during procedures
• Provide technical and patient care support under RN supervision during invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Assist physicians in imaging and act as scrub while maintaining sterile field
• Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations
• Maintain unit cleanliness and ensure appropriate stock for complex interventions
• Document patient progression and procedures according to department standards
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
• Must be permanently separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• Dress code and scrub requirements to be communicated upon assignment

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Cath Lab or invasive cardiovascular procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
• Active ARRT, RCIS, RCES, or CV-specific RRT certification required within 18 months of hire
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, active and not expiring before start
• Fluoroscopy Certification required
• Must supply radiation badges
• License required if applicable
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• No pending license accepted at time of consideration
