Job Description / Capsule
- Technical expert of specific company products, therapeutic classes or patient needs. Typically establishes long-term relationships with key customers.
- Develop and manage commercial relationships and agreements with major public/private hospital groups and with major industrial accounts to maximize the business for AstraZeneca.
- Interact with key customers in a highly scientific manner to effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals.
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations before starting the job
- Engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with the Line Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed performance and call execution goals in the assigned territory.
- Drive performance and ensure forecasts and assigned budgets to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, demographics, and managed market information relative to assigned territory.
- Identify Key Decision makers.
- Maintain good relationships with key customers.
- Ensure that AZ product input listing aligns with BU objective.
- Keep updating market and customer information.
- Regularly monitor business performance to ensure performance is in line with objectives.
- Provides immediate solutions to address sudden changes in the market behaviour of targeted accounts.
- Comply with all regulations and compliance including interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/medicine.
- At least 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical field.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Good business sense.
- Initiative and enthusiasm.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience in similar position in MNC Pharmaceutical company
