About The Role

As a Housekeeper in our Housekeeping Department, you will play a key role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This hourly, full-time position is hands-on and detail-focused, requiring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas according to established procedures, working both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our facilities consistently look their best.

What You'll Do

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards and checklists
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels and amenities
• Replenish room and supply closets with linens, toiletries, cleaning products, and other necessary items
• Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and common areas, disposing of them in designated locations
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner
• Ensure proper use, care, and storage of all cleaning equipment and supplies
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including the proper handling of chemicals
• Respond to guest or resident requests courteously and promptly, escalating concerns when needed
• Work efficiently to meet daily room and area cleaning quotas within assigned shifts
• Collaborate with other Housekeeping team members and departments to support smooth daily operations
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in accordance with company policies

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items (such as linens, cleaning supplies, and small furniture) during the shift
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely and follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cooperatively as part of a team
• Basic customer service skills, with a courteous and respectful attitude toward guests, residents, and colleagues
• Eligibility to work in the country of employment and ability to meet any background or reference check requirements, if applicable

The pay range for this role is: 15 - 15 USD per hour(Hilton Garden Inn Billings)
